Mikail Giovannelli holds a Bachelor’s degree in Language, Culture and Society of Asia and Mediterranean Africa from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a Master’s degree in European Studies. He is currently pursuing a degree in International Relations with a major in Mediterranean governance at LUISS University of Rome. Giovannelli’s area of expertise lies in the social and political dimensions of the MENA region, and his research is centred on this subject.
Giovanelli’s multicultural background, academic expertise and personal experiences, equip him to make a positive impact in the Middle East and North Africa regional studies. He is willing to contribute meaningfully to the cross-cultural dialogue and promote a deeper understanding of the MENA region’s social and political dynamics.
Areas of expertise and interest: Turkish politics, Middle Eastern studies, European politics, International relations, Languages, History.
Working languages: Italian, Turkish and English with working knowledge of Japanese, French, Arabic, and Farsi.
