Gianmarco Gabriele Marchionna is a Cyber Strategy & Technology Advisor, currently working at BIP Spa – CyberSec CoE. He conducts research at LUISS University, collaborating with the LUISS Mediterranean Platform and the Center for International and Strategic Studies (CISS), and serves as Cultore della materia (Subject Expert) in Political Risk Analysis.
He is a Professional Fellow at the World Energy Council – Italy, a Junior Associate Fellow at the NATO Defense College, a member of the EU CyberNet Expert Pool, and a Faculty Member for the Master in Cybersecurity & Data Protection at Talent Garden MED. He holds a Master’s in International Security (University of Bologna), an Executive Course in Strategic Affairs (LUISS School of Government), a Postgraduate Master’s in Cybersecurity Management (Polytechnic of Milan), and a 2nd Level Master’s in Intelligence & Emerging Technologies (University of Udine; Centre for Defense Higher Studies).
Areas of Expertise: cyber risk management, critical infrastructure protection with a main focus on energy security and submarine infrastructure, tech geopolitics, national and international security.
