On September 27, Prof. Luigi Narbone was interviewed by Italia Oggi about the increasing likelihood of a full-scale conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. 

Prof. Narbone stated that Israel’s actions make it clear that escalation is already happening. A year after the Gaza invasion, Israel has not achieved its goals, and its leadership is looking for ways to move Israel public opinion’s attention away from the hostage crisis.

He also discussed the failure of the US diplomacy to achieve a ceasefire and avoid the spreading of the war, the possible involvement of Iran, and the risks faced by the Italian contingent in Lebanon.
