On 15 October, Prof. Collombier was interviewed by France24 to discuss the recent visit of an African Union delegation to Libya to advance the reconciliation process in the country.

Prof. Collombier also spoke about the differences between national reconciliation and political mediation and the different dossiers presented by the African Union and the United Nations, the political impasse, the degree of cooperation between Libya’s key political and military figures, and how the regional environment is shaping the Libyan crisis.

Prof. Collombier also highlighted Russian and Turkish interference and the role of the African Union in addressing the growing political complexity.
