Prof. Collombier explained that the elimination of a key militia leader created a power vacuum that triggered violent competition among armed groups. She stressed that the crisis cannot be solved by simply replacing governments or reshuffling security forces, and called for a stronger international response amid the absence of a clear UN roadmap.
