Ilaria Bertocchini
Project Coordinator
Ilaria Bertocchini brings expertise in gender and development cooperation, with a focus on project management, monitoring, and evaluation (M&E) across Europe and the MENA region.
She has collaborated with NGOs and a consultancy firm and gained institutional experience through internships at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA).
Ilaria holds a Master’s degree in Politics of the Middle East from SOAS, University of London, as well as a Master’s degree in Government and Policies and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from LUISS University. She is currently enhancing her expertise in conflict resolution through advanced mediation training at La Sapienza University.
She is fluent in English, Italian, and French, and has working knowledge of Modern Standard Arabic and Spanish.
