CAPSTONE PROJECT

Put your competences to the test

During the second semester, students will have the opportunity to carry out a research project under the supervision of an external partner organisation or a Luiss faculty member.

The partner organisations will be selected from the Luiss network, both in Italy and abroad, among those that contribute to strengthening cooperation and dialogue between the North and the South of the Mediterranean, including international organisations, think tanks, NGOs or private companies. This pairing programme – which will be online and unpaid – has been designed to foster meaningful collaboration with leading organisations  operating in the Mediterranean region and to provide students with a project experience as if they were stepping into the shoes of an external consultant. The assignment will consist of a research analysis (qualitative or quantitative) and will cover a wide range of topics, focusing on economic development, climate crisis, security and risk analysis.

The project will also be an excellent vehicle for students to develop the knowledge, materials and research skills to complete their Master’s thesis.

Luiss reserves the right to modify the modalities and objectives of the project if the necessary conditions are not met. More details will be available by June 2024.
